Bull Fight or NASCAR

Yesterday went to see a bullfight. It was quite an experience. Thousands of people were packed into La Plaza del Toros. There were cement benches for seats and we had to sit between the legs of the people behind us and the people in front of us sat between our legs. The b**** in front of us started smoking halfway through and now I probably have lung cancer.

The fight began and a bull entered the arena. It was worn out and stabbed by men on horses. And finally the matador entered and eventually killed the bull.

The event is meant to be a celebration of the strength of the bull, but to me it was the spanish equivalent of NASCAR. The whole time I found myself wanted the bull to gore one of the guys. The final bull knocked over one of the horses. While it was interesting to watch, it was disappointing to see the bull weakened so much by being stabbed prior to fighting the matador.

Tomorrow is Toledo.
